This design takes its cue from the slogan 'Nuclear power, no thanks' originally featured on badges of the anti-nuclear movement in the 1970s.
Re-appropriated here to read 'Toxic power? No thanks' the shirt is a response to the Russian invasion, translated into Ukrainian to offer refugees something familiar once they reach a safer place.
Those who push to get power, usually push to maintain it, instead of using the position to implement positive change. Putin, Trump, Boris or whoever, it's optimistic to believe it's just a few individuals, as opposed to a broader toxic power that drives them.
Part sunflower, part Rorschach test, part nuclear explosion* - the design looks to encompass the complicated mess with a familiar and hopeful smile.
